Approed Workman Are Not Ashamed

Dear Mom and Dad,

We were glad to have your child in our Awana club tonight. If you have other children, they are also invited to one of our four Awana clubs and programs for young people 3 years old through 8th grade. Our Awana clubs are:Cubbies: Three and four year old boys and girls Sparks: Kindergarteners through second grade boys and girls T&T: Third through sixth grade boys and girls JV: Seventh and Eighth grade boys and girls

All clubs and programs meet weekly on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Our Awanas Clubs are part of thousands of Awana Clubs in churches around the world. The International Headquarthers is in Streamwood, Illinois. These church-based , community clubs are open to all youth and have childeren attending form many different faiths and churches. While your child is not required to attend the functions of our church , all of our church services and opportunities are available to your family.

An Awana Club meeting consists of three parts: games, achievements, and a bible story time. More than 20 trained adults are involved in our clubs and programs. While our facilities and equipment are supplied by the church, each clubber should bring 50 cents weekly dues to help defray the cost of treats and special supplies.

Your child has brought home an entrance booklet, which is the first step in Awana achievement. We hope you will help your child complete this booklet in the next several weeks. After completing the entrance booklet, you child is eligible to earn more awards as a member or his or her Awana Club . We want to work with you in providing balanced physical, social, mental, and spiritual activities for your child.

If you do not have a church home, we invite you to visit our church. Sunday School meets at 9:00 a.m. with classes for all ages. The worship service for children and adults meets at 10:00 a.m. Our Sunday evening service is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday service is from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. We invite you to come as a visitor and leave as a friend.
